So I just purchased this iPhone 6 on eBay it doesnt seem like its holding a good charge and dies pretty quickly. I downloaded coconut battery and here are the results, does it need to be replaced? Is there any way to tell if this is the original battery?

Coconut battery cannot tell if your current battery is original battery or not.

And yes, you need to replace your battery.

Ughh and this guy said battery is great and holds a charge all day. It goes from 100 to 60 in under an hour.

Have the battery replaced. 901 cycles is well over the 500 that Apple states as normal life for an iPhone battery.. Apple has replacement for $29 or if you can’t get to an Apple store, 3rd party replacements are available such as iFixit for similar cost

I understand it’s frustrating, but you did buy it from eBay from a total stranger and took their word for it. Sometimes you don’t get so lucky and not everyone is honest and just want to make a sale.

Please replace the battery. It's been through two lifetimes worth of usage already.
