So my last 14PM which I was very happy with was stolen. I bought a new one around 5 days ago and haven't been super impressed w/ battery life. Connected it to Coconutbattery and it says the battery was manufactured in 2013? Surely that is not possible, right?

Check to see if the coconut battery app is up to date. I’ve had that happen in the past but the app wasn’t up to date.

Edit to add. Also typically the app is probably programmed to read up to 2022. So It sounds like your battery was made in 2023 and thus it can’t read. I’ve seen this happen with the 13 pro max as well when the battery was manufactured in 2022 but the coconut app didn’t have the newest update.

I think this might be the issue because the last two numbers of the serial number for the battery are 23 so I think you are spot on.
