cod4 cant select high settings on some options

Like the title states, i cant select high on some of the graphics options for call of duty 4 on my macbook pro. I have switched to the 9600 and surely this gpu is capable of high for high models etc?

Or am I wrong and its not capable and thats why im locked to medium on some settings?

I drop the odd frame when there is a few spoke grenades going off on full spec with my iMac (in signature.) You may be better running just under full. no harm in experementing though.
