I've noticed some other people have had trouble with this on this site before, but no one seemed to offer any answers.

I am having trouble mounting images that I downloaded. I had trouble with Adium and Firefox, just as example.

Whenever I try to load the image, I get a "Warning: The following disk image failed to mount. Codec Overrun".

I started having this problem today, after I did a clean install of Leopard. I already had Leopard running prior to today with absolutely no problems.

As someone mentioned in another thread, if I press "skip" as it is starting to mount, I can get past this error. Obviously this is something I'd like to be able to avoid doing in the future.

I had the same problem when using both Safari and Firefox (I got firefox loaded after using the "skip" trick). I've tried downloading multiple times and to all the same issue. This happens with a .dmg files.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Or what might be the cause of this?
