All weekend long my boys and I raced against his AI in DiRT for the PS3. We had a blast. Then we saw this on the news this morning. Tragic

Yeah, I had been watching gameplay videos of DiRT for the PS3 on YouTube and stuff for a couple of days, then got on here and seen this thread last night. Sucks.

I had never actually seen him race that I can remember, but I've known who he is for a while because of his game franchise, etc. My condolences to his family and friends.

BTW... Feral decided to postpone releasing the game due to this tragic accident:

It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of Colin McRae last Saturday in a helicopter crash that also took the lives of three other people including his young son Jonny.

As a mark of respect for Colin and his family, we have decided to delay the release of the game "Colin McRae Rally Mac" that was scheduled for September 25th. We will update the site with information regarding a new release date at an appropriate point in the future.

The game should've been out the day after, no better tribute to the man IMHO.

I said earlier that I hadn't actually watched Colin race. Well, I checked out a bunch of footage on YouTube and man, that guy was TALENTED. Amazing driver. R.I.P., Colin.
