And there's yet another pick thrown by Colt Brennan.. I think thats turnover #4. (could be 5)

Texas Tech pulls it out in the end with a FG.

which just goes to show you when you play tech it is not over until the end. I have seem many of game where they are down by quite a bit in the 4th and will pull it off. You just have to love how tech can move that ball down the field.

I was really hoping for Hawaii to give them a run. Oh well.

And obviously second string is in. #50 on Georgia just did a cheap shot on Hawaii.

well, the GA and Hawaii game, wasn't a game at all. looks like they're quarterback didn't come to play, and he had tons of pressure on top of that. i really feel bad for him. his backup looked a little better, but the game was over by then anyways.

i still say UGA got shafted on the bowl selection. they should at least be playing USC, if not Ohio State.

Can't wait for the Buckeye's to beat down on LSU!

It will be a fight but in the end, OSU will be on top.

The first two BCS games were really predictable and boring. I'm hoping for a better Fiesta Bowl tonight because I think the teams are matched up better.

I'm not holding my breath on tonight--with their coach leaving, WVU is likely to be flat and disinterested--and OU has a point to prove (well, at least they think they do).

yeah, but i don't know. i'm pulling for WVU. they have some playmakers

Oh, absolutely. OU has to be concerned about the speed WVU has in Slaton, White, etc. But I don't know how much emotion WVU will be able to muster.

As far as Hawaii-Georgia--I kinda saw that coming. But Hawaii was the only team with a real complaint about being shut out of a national title game--they were the only team who beat everyone they played. But, moot point now.

The match ups have been bad, the 5 week layoff hurts too, the whole system is bad in general. Plus allowing coaches to leave before the season ends needs to be changed. Teams should have to wait until the season is over before being allowed to talk to coaches.

Agreed. What do the coaches leaving teach the players? Commit to nothing but the dollar? Abandon your "pride and joy" for a school that has a better reputation/chance of winning?

If the coaches wanna leave when their season is completely over, that's one thing, but to leave at the pinnacle? Just doesn't do it for me.

And the same coaches say all season long it's all about the kids. BS.

Money talks, but what good is it for another school to grab a coach before a big game, is it gonna hurt to wait a month. All 5 interim coaches lost so far, how is that giving integrity to the game.

yeah, i still think WVU has a shot.

well, i thought Hawaii would put up a better game than they did. especially the quarterback. i know he had pressure, but still, i expected better. and no, Georgia had a say in the national title game - they were ranked #4, and numbers 2 and 3 lost. and they have the same number of loses as LSU.

But they didn't even win their division. Tennessee did, and LSU beat them in addition to winning their division.

It's too convoluted. I'd love to see a playoff system.

I too was disappointed in the Rose and Sugar bowls.

.
I doubt we'll ever see that. There's way too much $$$$ involved for the schools in the bowls, esp the major ones. One thing I'd like to see is less than five weeks between the end of the season and the major bowls. I realize scheduling is a problem,as they don't want to go head to head with the NFL on television..

I think that is a crock. There would be more money for all in a playoff. Division 1-A football is a joke when it comes to determining an actual champion.

woww... these guys singing the national anthem are ****ing terrible

Exactly. Why should they play for a national championship when they couldn't even play for the SEC championship?

right, they didn't get to win their division. but they had a tougher schedule than Tennessee, and beat the teams that had beaten Tennessee. and also, Georgia's losses were fairly close, where Tennessee got blown out a couple times (namely by Alabama, who Georgia beat)

so, it's not the case where you say "they didn't win their division". they didn't get a chance to play in the championship game, that's all. if Alabama wouldn't have lost a few conference games, then they would have been in and LSU out, and still, LSU would probably still be in the big game
