[College Project] Name two things you wanted as a child but never got.

I'm 20.

I always wanted a go-kart when I was little and never got one, though I completely understand why...it really wouldn't have made sense with the layout of our lawn. :p

Also I remember wanting video games...my parents bought me a Sega when I was very very small, but I don't think they ever quite understood the concept that the games came separately, so I was stuck with the few games that came bundled and whatever my older cousins got tired of. :rolleyes:

Otherwise Christmas and my birthday treated me very well when I was little...
 
i'm 26.

when i was young i wanted:
  • a Power Wheels car (age 4 or 5)
  • a Super Nintendo (age 9)

instead i got a bike and a Sega Genesis. i can't complain. :)
 
I'm 35 and I can't even remember what I really wanted as a kid...

I do remember asking for an Oric 1 once, but it wasn't something I was desperate for...

Oh, i completely forgot about those, i wanted one so bad. That and the one where it said all the different times in different countries. they were like over $100
 
A time machine more specifically the Delorean that Doc Brown made.
And Alicia Silverstone as my girlfriend.
 
I always wanted LA Gears with the lights at the bottom which lit up when you took a step. I was around 9.

I wanted to join a hockey league, but the 'rents couldn't afford it. I was around 13-14.

A Leafs blue "away" hockey jersey. I had a white one. I got one with "Potvin" written on the back, which was more important to me anyway. I was 14. :)

I wanted long hair in the early-'70s. I wanted a girlfriend at the same time and had to wait until 1981. :)

Do those count?

And I am forty-something.
 
Although my parents hired go carts for me to race, I had always wanted (and still want) my very own Go Cart (motorised one). Also, when I was 8, I wanted a swing set. I'm now 15.
 
1) Pony/Horse

2) Big Teddy Bear

Still have neither of those and I am old enough to have a kid that cold have kids :(
 
I always wanted a moped (when i was around 15/16, if that counts as a "child") but I was never allowed to get one and I don't really want one now

Never really wanted anything when I was younger, I was way to spoilt and my parents got me anything they thought I would of liked. Now it is the other way round, I try and get random things for my parents just to try and "pay them back" if you want to look at it that way lol

I'm 20 btw
