Taking back my 15PM Natural today and exchanging for a 15PM in blue. Natural is just so blah and bland after using it for a few days. It is clean of course but does not work for me and even think white is way better. Thankfully I found the blue last night online for pickup. If I found the white I probably would get that but that one is hard to find in my area.

And I don't use a case which I never have and for 95% of people color really makes 0 difference. I get the case reasoning but never had an issue so far but I do get apple care. I however really love the rounded edges and the dimensions as I use my phone 1 handed a lot and it is a joy to hold now.
As someone who will embed mine in a case and largely forget what colour it is, there is a ridiculously over the top tendency to obsess over original choice! (That is me saying that about me - not pointing a finger at others.)

The need to have made the "best" choice.

I went to the authorized reseller on Saturday to check out the different colors (just curious, not getting one). And I was kinda meh about the pro colors. If I was getting one it would probably be the white. I have the silver 14 pm at the moment and that's a crisper white than the 15 which is warmer. Im hoping for a rose gold iPhone next time I upgrade :). I do however, REALLY love the pink iPhone 15 (and the green is nice as well). If it weren't for the fact that I love the macro and the promotion display I would be tempted to downgrade next year.
However, I heard rumors that in 2 years we might see 120 hz on the regular models so maybe that is when I will be getting a new phone :)

Smartphones are so essential in our lives nowadays that it almost feels like part of our identity. I can understand why it feels so important.

While I agree that it is certainly a first world problem, when I drop 2K canadian on a phone, I might as well have the colour I want. I do not upgrade every year, in fact, I don't even upgrade every two years. The phone will stay with me 3-4 years for sure. While I have enjoyed Android phones for the last 11 years (and there are features I already miss), I do admit that iPhone in itself is a much nicer device to behold. In the past I would use non-clear cases, as Samsung Galaxy and S series are blah phones in themselves looks-wise and there is no point to display them. With this new phone I intend to use clear cases and colour does matter.

Absolutely can say the blue is gorgeous. Head and shoulders above the others in my opinion…as for all the other problems people are having - myself included - that’s a topic for another day.

yeah to each their own for sure and like I said 95% of people I guess use a case so it is mostly irrelevant on the color. I don't use a case or haven't in a long time.

The scratches might be less noticeable on the natural, but it will scratch as well as it is also PVD coated.
You are correct, this is only visual, protection-wise all 4 colours are "equal". This isn't like the Apple Watch Stainless Steel ordeal, where only black colours got diamond-like-coating where the others got PVD, and down the years the ones with DLC lasted MUCH MUCH better.

I incline to use my blue Pro Max naked this time. I snatched a case along with screen protector on day 1, but it is really quite beefy, and wasting the reduced weight this time around. But currently the phone seems to have heating issues, at least on mine it does, so using it naked can be really uncomfortable at times, it got way too warm (in fact it almost burns).

still no promax phones showing up online in my area as of yet and checking here and there. have a blue to get and exchanging my natural and it is not for sure.
The darker colors scare me with scratching. I couldn't live with an obviously scratched phone and apple has experience with natural titanium on their watches. I owned a titanium apple watch and it never scratched

I’m thinking of buying a clear skin to wrap the sides of my iPhone, or I just might not really put up a fuss as I trade in every year to Apple, and I use a screen protector and case.

It's probably not that big of a deal outside of my feeble brain. I don't like the blue though and also the blackish/greyish color.

I was undecided between the blue and white, and the night before preorders, I settled on blue. I’m happy with my decision and don’t regret it.

I have color regret. I got black because that is my preference, but I don't want to see all the fingerprints. Would White in the Pro show fewer fingerprints?
What fingerprints? I have black titanium 15 pro (do you have regular 15, not "pro"?). No fingerprint issues on the back at all on mine, and very minor, barely noticeable, on the frame.

Just picked up my Pro today. Went with black again. Looks great to me. I always use a case anyway, and think black looks better depending on the case design. Even makes the camera bump look smaller 😉

Went and exchanged my 15PM 512gb Natural for a 15pm 1tb (no 512 were online) Blue today and all good. Really like the blue and it is quite nice looking. Can look blue, black or even purple. I wanted white but yeah those are hard to get.

Happy as I go case-less 99% of the time and it looks great.

So I swapped my 15 Pro Natural for a 15 Pro Max White and I don't know I really love this 'White'. I use quotes because pictures don't do it justice, it's really more of a light silver, it looks metallic and I quite like it. Adds some contrast as the Natural is kind of all grey. If you haven't seen it in person do so, it's an over looked gem for sure!

Having now seen one not fully caged in a shop, I agree it looks rather good. Much prefer it to natural titanium.

Here is a pic next to a silver MacBook Pro maybe that will convey the look.

Looks stunning. I’m between Pro v Max and White v Blue, leaning to the white. What was the reason you exchanged, the size or the color?

I don’t own one yet, waiting for in store availability and pickup. But if I could choose one, I’d pick natural titanium. But any color is okay with me at this point since there’s no stock available and I really need an upgrade over my iPhone 11 when I travel next month

Titanium Pro Max is likely going back in favor of a Black Pro.

In my head the Titanium was going to look like a cool big slab of metal. But in reality it’s still just a bunch of phone peices with visible sections and gaps. I would’ve been fine with it but when I decided to go to Pro I went back to trusty black. I always use a black case so having that black camera system always looks great.

That said, I went into the store and saw white in person. I gotta say that it looks great in person.

I did return my natural for black. It was just boring and I remembered in a year it won’t be the new cool color it will be the old color. Like the purple and green.
