Color Sidebar

I wonder why we didn't get colored sidebars in OS X Mavericks because iTunes 11 added color back to the sidebar. You would think because Apple updated the Finder, they would have added the color back at the same time. Maybe in the next release?

Apps like SideEffects and ColorfulSidebar allow you to do this. I haven't tested either of them on Mavericks, though.

I know I'm just curious why Apple hasn't adjusted it themselves when they made UI adjustments in other places.
