Color sync MBP and external monitor screen?

I am curious if there is a way to "sync" the color of my MBP screen and my external monitor?

It is getting really annoying looking back and forth between the two because they make the other always look "washed out".

Any advice or insight would be appreciated -- thanks!

System Prefs -> Displays -> Color tab -> Calibrate. Use the same settings for both displays.
