I would have walked into the store determined to buy the most fun colour available, and then walked out half an hour later with either a silver or black one. 😳

If I were to buy a Neo I’d probably go for silver as well. Citrus will get very old very fast I think. Never been a fan of pink(ish) or gold(ish) colors for a laptop and that Indigo looks too/very close to my Midnight Air, although I admit I have not seen Indigo irl.
Silver is boring. Everything is silver. Even my HP is silver. If I am buying then I will go with something more colorful like the pink NEO.
A Forest Green or Project Red color is something I would have definitely went for.

The only reason to go for the silver or black is the black click wheel. Put the black click wheel on the green or red and it would have been perfect.
Same with the Neo, black keyboard with emerald green or Project Red.

The iPhone 14 Pro was close. I would buy a purple or orange Neo in a heartbeat.

Honestly, I wish they'd bring back the iPod Nano, but equipped for wifi. I miss both these and the shuffle.
As for the Neo, it would be great if they followed the color scheme from the OP. We need more color in this world. A red Neo would've been an instant buy, as I did with every (PRODUCT)RED device they released previously.

Let me just say this. Whoever comes up with a matte screen protector with an off-white bezel option is going to sell a lot of those.
Not everybody wants a white/matching bezel, but many do. I certainly do.

Also the MacBook NEO won't close with that protector will it. It will be too thick.
