i know its always rumors etc until it happens but do we think iPad mini will come in colors?

just like the ipad, only 2 colors......that makes 18 versions

with all of the colors on the ipod touch, it still only comes to 10 versions

I think those rendered images floating around of the Mini having a 2-toned back similar to the iPhone 5 could be accurate.

Like that. Or it might just be the traditional aluminum.

I hope they come in colours.. Im probably going to get my kids one so i can control content better.

I'd get Orange if they had it, like the old Orange smart cover that got discontinued. I loved it, not sure why they stopped selling them. I guess not enough people bought that colour?

I'd love it...but I highly doubt it with reference to the (possibly) leaked serial numbers. Only black and white. Especially do differentiate it from the iPod line-up.

i think there will be a colored ipad minis. just take a hint of those colored posters in the theater.

and some rumors floating around the web:

I would like to see color'd iPad Mini's.
Though I think it will only be Black and White.

They will probably release a revised smart cover to add in color.

It would be neat to see a variety of colors for all of their iDevices, but I am doubting we'll see that on the iPad mini or anything else except for the iPod Touches.

I've been wondering if there's a clue in the colors they used for the invite. I agree that kids would love the colors.

It's a smaller version of the iPad invitation that they sent out, either for the original iPad or 3rd generation. I would say the colors hold the same significance that they had then.

These were the only two invites I could find for iPad 2 and 3. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1350942577.896674.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1350942588.517991.jpg

What's the story of model numbers for the colored iPods? Are there different ones for each color? If so, the rumored model numbers for the iPad mini really indicate black and white only.

And again, if they're not bringing color to the big iPad, I don't think there will be colors in the smaller one...Apple likes to have homogenous line-ups.

Apple can't do new things?

Also, if there is a push for these towards books and education. colors would be a good way to draw young market.

I don't expect to see colors, but not impossible.

Of course Apple can do new things. But than again, Apple tends to have homogenous line-ups, and if the mini is a small iPad rather than a big iPod touch, I don't think there will be colors except the big iPad gets color options.

I really hated it when there were like 4 different designs in-between the Macbook Family (Air, white, pro with black bezel, pro with old design) - that just not apple-like. My guess is, they will offer color through smart cases, just like with the bigger brother.

I'm really interested in the model number story though. That was a honest question.
