Hi All, another potential problem to try and solve.

The situation:
our mac users want to add some ICC profiles for use with the adobe suite, but with our lock down, controlled by OD the system library folder (not the user library folder) is locked, so they can't add the profiles in to it for colorsync to recognise.

I don't want to give the users access or unlock the library folder.

Anybody got any ideas, or a possibility of changing the localized strings?

Odds are good that whatever profiles they're requesting probably should be in /Library/ColorSync/Profiles. Why would you not allow your users to have tools they need to do their work?

The users can't be trusted 🙂

Anyone else?
