Coloured lines and dots around windows...

Hi,

Does anyone know what these lines mean? They are around every window I open. My laptop seems to be running normally.

See attached. It's a mid-2012 mac but I think i bought it in 2013.

Hmm. It's rare the 13" get GPU issues with the integrated chips. I recommend trying out safe mode and seeing if the issue persists. I also recommend running Apple Hardware Test/Apple Hardware Diagnostics

Also, try logging into your Mac through a different account, either set up a new one or log in as guest and see if the issue persists.
