Can anybody tell me more about the service "com.apple.lakiut", or it's associated keychain entry "EscrowService"? I found this post (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1659793/) using the search feature but there wasn't much information given. Google doesn't offer much information either apart from unanswered posts on other sites. Thanks.

Figured it out

It would seem that the escrow service is used when iCloud keychain is setup with the default 4-digit pin, according to this blog http://cheryllkoelschd8bbe.wordpres...ore-passwords-only-locally-seems-to-be-false/

It would seem that the best explanation for com.apple.lakitu is simply that somebody at apple is a Mario Kart fan. Thanks for looking.
