I currently use the Bluetooth magic keyboard with my ipad air 3. i was considering getting the new combo touch to make my ipad feel and look more like a laptop. Any of you tried both the touch and Bluetooth magic keyboard ? Which do you think had the better typing experience?

Yes, I have the BT Magic Keyboard and this week tested the Logitech Combo Touch. I'm a fast typist so I feel that the BT Magic Keyboard is the better of the two because of the key travel and its spacing between the keys. When I'm typing on it, I don't even think about it. I tested the Combo Touch with an Air 3, and I found that I had to make a few adjustments in my typing rhythm, but then it's also the difference of desktop (with the BTMK) and laptop (with the Combo Touch). I suppose you can get used to any keyboard, but for me the BTMK feels more natural.

It was a pleasant enough experience, but like many others who have posted, I had frequent disconnections, which made it frustrating and disruptive to even work on even short writing projects.

which keyboard did you have the disconnection problem ?

The Comb Touch. No disconnections with the bluetooth Magic Keyboard. If you search for reviews here and other sites about the Comb Touch, you will see some users having this issue. I didn't want to believe it, so was disappointed when it started. On the other hand, now I have a fabulous IPP 12.9.
