mad jew Moderator emeritus Jan 15, 2006 #2 A combo update includes packages for upgrading an OS from a version before the last release. In other words, you'd need a combo update to get 10.4.2 to 10.4.4 but only the regular (delta) update to get 10.4.3 to 10.4.4. 🙂

grapes911 Moderator emeritu Jan 15, 2006 #3 The combo updaters updates from any previous versions of the same OS. A normal updater only updates from the last version. Example. If you have 10.4.3, you can use either to get to 10.4.4. If you have 10.4.2, you need the combo to get to 10.4.4.
