Realistic Drama (including period pieces) and Comedy are still the biggest genres as you can see from the most popular shows from network TV and HBO.

According to viewer count, yes. That’s what people stream and watch at the movies. Look at any blockbuster film or streaming series. It’s either Sci-Fi, Action, Fantasy…or all three.

and many others don’t care of Apple’s feminine streaming catalog. I certainly don’t.

Two of the biggest streaming shows are based off of Marvel franchises and Star Wars? I'M SHOCKED! Guess what streamed more than either of them - Bridgerton. Remind me how sci-fi that one is.
