Every 3 months or so I would rebuild my PC (I like to tinker) and have to spend 15 minutes reading 25 key stings to a computer and operator for MS in order to use my valid copy of XP. While they never gave me a hard time about it, at any point they could have just said no and I wouldn't have had much recourse. That leash was one of the reasons I switched to Apple a year ago. Let's not give them a good reason to change that stance.

I used to have to do the same thing. Insanely annoying.
