A comet has surprised scientists by providing a great view with the naked eye, even greater with binoculars. It is exploding, and is currently brighter than our sun and bigger than Jupiter, according to the CNN article.

This is fun stuff. I like taking my family outside, in the city limits, to spot comets and other interesting items about space. You can watch the space shuttle or the space station fly over at times, too.
