Maybe because he just doesn't care if this guy feeds news or makes a thread. He doesn't seem be a public spotlight kind of person, and it seems reasonable to respond to emails. I really doubt comex cares what random people on the Internet thinks of him. Just my $0.02.

Alright so the email is def. legit some might be thinking that maybe some random dude created the email account and is trying to be him but look here for proof.

We all know the email is legit. The real question should be if he was telling me the truth with the release date of "tomorrow."
And do you know how long it would take to do that on PhotoShop? As long as it takes "to black out info"
Well perhaps it's a test / troll to see if you were genuine in your apology for leaking the info, which you failed.. Additionally your posts in the JB iPad2 known issues thread don't really demonstrate remorse, regrets or supposed 'shame' ..it's on with the show!

It said it would shorten the jailbreak window (apple patch i presume) by two days. I would assume that starts from the jailbreak leak (Friday)
Tomorrow said at 12:15 am could easily have meant the same technical day, or he may be in a timezone where it was Saturday still.
I didn't catch that part of the emails when I first read it. I had already edited it before you even posted, it would still most likely refer to today and the 2 day part is still true so... yeah.
