Its not to late to get 4.0 shsh files. I just saved mine.

I would recommend to everyone just to hold your horses. All it's really going to do is make it look like you have more bars, anyway.

Don't forget about these other proclaimed fixes. Not major but still something:

- Improved Wi-Fi connectivity
- Fixed an issue that could prevent copy and paste of single-page PDF attachments in Mail
- Addressed an issue that could cause video playback to freeze
- Improved reliability of video-out when using iPad Dock Connector to VGA Adapter
- Added Bing as an option for Safari's search field

Funny, I always setup as new when I update but this time it did not even give me that option. I guess I should have hit restore instead of update. Honestly, tying seems a little snappier.

Still encourage you not to update to 4.0.1 however, but if you missed getting a 4.0 SHSH, you can get ones for 4.0.1. 24 minutes ago via Echofon

Just upgraded my iPhone 4 to 4.0.1, and the baseband stayed the same. If I do need to downgrade for some reason, I have my SHSH backed up so I'll be fine.

There is no reason to upgrade, and MuscleNerd recommends against it. I would listen to him.

That's for 3GS until they update the tools that jail broke them. iPhone 4 is fine to upgrade.

I wouldn't upgrade. The Dev Team is split right now if its OK to upgrade. The upgrade itself doesn't really do much. Its hight risk, low reward.
