I've used the XR & XS each for a week and I'm torn on which to keep. The XR would be the clear keeper for me if the bezels were a bit smaller.

For those that have used both, did you get used to the XR bezels?

Honestly no, maybe wish for the true black, it I use an iPad often and screen is better than an Air 2 screen

I really don't get the big deal about the XR bezels to be honest. Yes they're bigger than the X/XS but I don't think they're THAT big. But to each their own.
I had an X and then XS Max before settling in to the XR. Very happy with it and I never give the bezels a second thought until I see people asking about them lol.

In your opinion... Most prefer the Air2 laminated screen over the iPad screen and Apple continues to offer the laminated screens on their premium iPads.. OP, you’ll get use to the bezels after you use the device for awhile

It is indeed overblown. I find it funny how people were wanting way smaller bezels from Apple pre iPhone X series and they still find the XR bezels thick lol. Slightly thicker than the iPhone XS? Yes, but not by much.

If the XR had bezels like the Pixel 3, I would see the argument (Maybe, since you get front facing speakers from a little more bezel), but the XR is definitely overblown (Just like the screen). In my humble opinion......

I test drove an xr. The bezels weren’t an issue. I stuck with the max because of the higher quality speaker (clear and loud), and larger screen. Screen quality and bezels were none issues with me. When you stick a case on a max the bezels doesn’t seem as thin.
