Command Drag doesn't remove account name from taskbar?

Command Drag doesn't remove account name from taskbar?

It just pops back next to spotlight?
Anyone know where the setting is for this?

System Preferences -> Accounts -> Login Options (log in with the lock at the bottom now) -> Fast User Switching.

That is fast user switching that you are trying to get rid of. If you don't use it, just disable as was suggested above.
