Comment Box??

Hey everyone, I have been looking for a long time how to create a simple comment box in html. I want it to work like this: once submitted it will post the comment, that the user wrote in an html form, on the webpage for any other person to see who goes to this webpage. I guess it would kinda be like the wall on facebook. I have come to an understanding that I will have to link an html form (which I know how to make, I have lots of experience in html and javascript) with some php. I have no idea how to work php.

Could someone please post code for this comment box and explain how html form connects with php?

You will need to store the comments somewhere, usually in a database like MySQL. Or a plain text file could work, but I would only recommend that if you can't use MySQL or sqlite.

You should look into using a CMS such as wordpress
