    Hi all,

Were there any comments from devs regarding rumors of new Apple iOS 9 feature called "Rootless"?

I am a bit concerned that this might mean the end of our Jailbreak journey (I embarked long long time ago starting with my Apple 3G)...

Apple is so stupid... They go through so much just so that we can't mod...

Actually, I would like to hear what does "rootless" exactly means... how more difficult would be to find exploits....

    "rootless"?
They shouldn't say big words like that.
You see when others said "unsinkable"
No software is hack proof and their "rootless" ios will be JB again.
Make it harder yes, impossible NO.

Its true for every software out there.
Just wasn't enough interest for the particular device.

Or perhaps to make things more secure on their systems/devices?

I hope this encourages TaiG to release an iOS 8.3 jailbreak.

I hope it's not the case that a jailbreak for iOS 9 is impossible.

I'd hate to have to move away from iPhones but I refuse to pay £540 for a phone I can't so much as use a theme on or hide apps I will never use. Or customise beyond a wallpaper and a ringtone I have to pay Apple for and download via iTunes.

I firmly believe there's no better phone than a jailbroken iPhone. But a stock iPhone is so restrictive it's unusable.

Unless of course they incorporate winter board, folder enhancer and springromize into stock iOS. And I believe there's more chance of a flock of pigs flying by than that.

I am at the point of if I am unable to jailbreak when it is time to upgrade then I will be switching to android. I've owned iPhone and only iPhone since they first came to the market but I feel like if I cannot do what I want with my device then it's time for me to choose a different device.

What I think is crazy is how Apple wants to prevent jail breaking because of things like piracy, but a user like me would be happy if they would allow at least some customization abilities. But instead because I accidentally upgraded I'm stuck with what Apple wants me to have.
