Common issues with ipad2

Hi,

My ipad is currently in-flight to the US (if I'm guessing the right flight), and I was wondering what this "Blacklight bleed" and "yellowing" is? Are these temporary issues that will go away once your ipad is used for a bit? Are there any other issues we should look out for? Is apple replacing these ipads if these symptoms are not temporary?

Just asking what exactly the issues are and what can be done, thanks.
