You have good points! I would love to work like you described in 3D space. In meta horizon world you are able to do that. It’s not in my country yet

Try TiltBrush / OpenBrush, and Kodon. Another app to look at is Tvori.

Apple's big problem when they previously tried to "do" VR, is that they saw it as a place to consume content created in tools on a 2D computing experience, whereas after usng 3D tools, it becomes clear the opposite is true - 3D workspaces are the place where people will create content for 2D consumption experiences. This is what's already happening in cinema - cameras are VR tracked, so that a live rear projection background can be used and captured in camera, without chromakeying.

Just bumping this up because I pretty much was correct. The product broke the internet, Bank of America are expecting 1.5million units sold in the first year, way more than predicted by Apple before the reveal. Pretty much all my friends know of the thing and are excited to see it. critics and content creators are salivating about this thing and calling it an iPhone moment

The biggest thing I found however, is its a spatial computing device with usecases I pretty much predicted (besides the gps stuff lol). its a computer replacement and a massive step, almost as big a iPhone.

Safe to say I told y'all so

How so? It is extremely pricy and you still need a Mac to be able to do real Pro things with it. It’s like the iPad Pro line.

I like a cheaper version of it and will wait. I have had the Quest Pro for 8 months. The UX is not similar but you get a lot of the things mentioned in a way cheaper form. I hope Apple can perhaps price its next headsets below 2k.
