As an iPhone v1 user upgraded to 2.0 software I know there are some niggles with the new software. What I don't know is whether the new 3g iPhone has the same problems with the 2.0 software. If I get a 3g, will I still find the contacts and some other apps sluggish to start? Is the Safari app sluggish when scrolling around the screen?

All of these problems that I am encountering would seem to be because the display memory (which used to refresh the device so that it was a joy to use) is no longer adequate when having to cope with the 2.0 software.

So if I get a 3g, do I get back the joy of using my iPhone again, with everything working properly and instantly?
