Hi all...
I'm comparing about 700 Gig of data from two USB 3 external drives. The external drives are locally plugged, but the application to compare them is run from another Mac, thus it must update over network...
I believe attaching two USB drives locally would take the same amount of time (less the updating over network), but I reckon there could be a Terminal command to do this..
That way, i could switch off my laptop, where the application is run from,
I need to compare the "iTunes" folder and every thing within (including all sub-folders), is there a Terminal command for this ?
Either way, it will probably take just as long, since USB would be the limiting factor.
