I'm in a similar camp - I have my MBP which I bought in January (specs in signature) but I have always wanted an Air - the main reason I didn't go for that instead at the beginning of the year was due to the lack of RAM, but now the price has dropped £100 on the base model it seems far more attractive with the 8GB RAM upgrade for £80.

I'm 50/50 whether to sell my MBP (been offered £900) then put the additional £300 towards an Air - the USB 3.0 is a big draw with time machine, however I do play odd games on my Mac which I'm sure would benefit from the HD4000 GPU too.

The higher resolution display is another appeal, I find the 1280x800 quite crappy after using my iPad.

As you can tell I've pretty much convinced myself to sell up and get an Air but are there any reasons you guys WOULDN'T do it?? Is the extra money worth the change?
