I was looking back at my old iMac g4, the very first imac g4. I saw the amount of memory and the processor speed and laughed. The processor in the iphone is faster, and has three times the ram. The old iphone has only 128 mb of ram right? well this imac has the same amount and can multitask pretty easily. Just a little nostalgia there. I considered it some top technology back then, now you can get even better in the palm of your hand. funny

The cost difference is amazing as well.

Somebody at work the other day mentioned that he'd just bought a 1TB drive for $40 (!) after rebate.

My first hard drive back in the early 1980s was 5MB and cost me $800. To buy enough of those drives to make 1TB, would've cost $160 million dollars back in the day.

Kids have it SO easy now :)
