Compass Waypoints

Do waypoints expire or get deleted automatically or do they stay on your watch until you manually remove them?

You have to manually remove them and also ....Apple could have implemented a dedicated map so you can actually see your trackback on a map just like Garmin does. What Apple pushed through is half ass and makes no sense
