Hi im new to redording and iMac computers and need some help with my set up.

Ive installed pro tools 7.3 LE with MBox 2 mini hardware. I use the Yamaha AW1600 multitrack recorder to record with. and After ive finished recording, I upload the ".wav" files from from my Yamaha AW 1600 to ProTools and when i playback the sound through ProTools all i hear is a white noise sound.

Can anyone please help me out and tell me why this is happening??

i cant really fix your specific issue since it hasnt happened to me before, but i do know where you can find the answer.

the digi users conference (message board) is sure to have the solution in one of the stickies, or if not you can post and someone there will have an answer. just a note of caution. some folks on the DUC can be real stuck up, so make sure you post all your system info, and as many details about your problem as you can or else you'll get flamed.

PS 10.4.10 is not qualfied for PT, and 10.4.9 is barely qualified

always check the digi compatability pages, especially when using the latest version of osx.
