even the infograph modular too... before that's how i had it set up...modular face...thats strange.
This is the dumbest “decision” (oversight)

I completely agree. Why Apple would make complications for commonly used stock apps unusable on the new watch faces is beyond me. Ridiculous.
To add ..... I installed watchOS 5.1 beta on Series 4. Complications are still missing.

They made a new watch face with the option for more complications then ever before...but you can only choose between unnecessary stuff like UV index. Unbelievable. All new faces are useless

Mail and Messages are available in the Modular face but not in the Infograph Modular

I filed a radar to report this as a bug. I will update all of you when Apple updates it. I suggest all of you file radars thru bug reporter.
Are you looking at the original Modular face or the new Infograph Modular? It’s not in the new face but it is in the original.
Yes it does and it feels so plain. I am dumbfounded as to why they aren’t available in the new face
There's also a few watch faces that must have only come with Hermes that I'm sad we didn't get as well.
Seriously bummed that I can’t use the Cardiogram complication with the infographic modular face.
I have to agree this is so annoying- just cannot make a Watch face that I like with the complications I want.

As you can see this does not appear to be a bug but something that has designed in such away.

It seems like with the two new Infograph faces that all the complications are new. Maybe newer in size, or in resolution, or something. Of course some are different in shape completely and show more info - the curved ones on the corner of Infograph.
What’s odd though is that there’s a mix of old and new ones. And can only use new ones on the new watch faces. Surprised simple ones for built in first party apps weren’t updated.
