Wow. I am so impressed with how the iUP process went this year. After the DISASTER that was last year I commend them for making great strides toward smoothing out this program.

Last year: 4 hour phone call with Apple to “hopefully” get a launch day iPhone. Stand in line at the store for 3 hours.

This year: Pre-approved a few days before pre-order. Two taps, and order confirmed on the Apple Store app.
