Complete list of 3D cities

I'm happy to report that a week after expanded 3D (including Statue of Liberty) in NYC was released, the updates are FINALLY showing up on my iPhone.

Hopefully for others who were not seeing the updates, this is also true.

Yea I dont get where they get these 2d and 3d outlines.
The ones in Google Maps are totally wrong too. Buildings are missing, have intriquate inlets and corners while the actual building has none. Seems they are just invented to fill up the space between roads.
 
It appears the meteor crater in AZ is in 3D?

100% positive, and has been confirmed by a few others. Not Flyover, just 3D. You have to zoom in pretty far for the outlines to pop up.

Ah ok, now that I'm zoomed in almost all the way I can see it. I think I was getting flyover and 3D confused.

It is yes. Most terrain is in 3D.

This is clearer than it used to be but I still can't work out where the faces are meant to be though.

Just checked a few areas in the east of the UK and they are 3D on my iPhone 4S. Terrain is 3D pretty much worlwide including the entire UK.

Flyover, however, is limited to only around 50 cities currently.

Work your way to the south east and the coast is not 3D*

Any way i'm sure it will come :)

Actually, you're right, it is just not as good as the rest of the uk :)

Anyone noticed any error with 3D Flyover in cities which are available? As in are the satellite images provided completely error-free?
 
You know, criticize the new maps, fine, maybe it deserves a little, and yes, arguably 3D flyover isn't much more than eye candy, but man, I don't care, in a neat city like Rome for example, it's just cool as hell. :) I felt like I was exploring the Colosseum on my phone. So very cool, and really amazing, even if its not all that functional.
