Hi,
I just sold my old powerbook g4 and want to do a complete restore. I don't have much on the laptop, but my identity is still there. I ran the restore disks, but my user name is still there. Is there a way to completely restore it like its brand new?

thanks

I think if you boot of the Restore disk, when the first window comes up just ignore it and go to the menus. You should be able to start Disk Utility from there which you can use to format the HD.

This is true at least on OS X install disks, not sure about Restore disks though.
