Completely Bypass the Login Screen

Hi;

When I switch on my Macbook Pro 2008 with Mac OS X installed I go straight to the Desktop. On a friends new Mac they have to go through a Login Screen.

How can they disable or hide this Login Prompt sand make the Login Automated so that when the switch on the go straight to the Desktop.

Well are there multiple users on the friends' computer?

No at first Login Screen there are two users, (Main user and guest)?

Go to user accounts in System Preferences, and check if automatic log in is highlighted, if so change it to off.
