My old MBA died after an accident. I managed to have a backup (Time capsule) and restored it to a brand new but exactly the same model MBA. Now iTunes doesn't see my Apple TV anymore. Suggestions? My fear is to loose data if I try to re-sync stuff.

You have a new Macbook Air, so you have to go into the Apple TV "Settings" Menu, then "Computers" and add the new computer. Go back to iTunes and you should be able to reconnect them. This will erase all content on the Apple TV, but since you had it backed up, the only thing it will have to do is re-sync the data (just make sure your iTunes library has everything).
