Since I use my AW SE as an activity tracker mainly, I'm on the "Activity Digital" face most of the time.
Occasionally I switch to the "Colour" face.
The screenshots below are taken right after one another. Notice the difference in the kcal (666 versus 665).
Sometimes it's more than 1 kcal.
Which has me wondering: is the "Activity Digital" perhaps a direct "native" representation of the data, while the complication on the "Colour" is just a background app that updates every once so often hence not always correct?

Yes, it does.
Sometimes, swiping to change the watch face is enough to force the update in the blink of an eye.

Nothing more than a delay then in my opinion. Widgets on the phone are absolutely useless and can take hours to update.

I’m not making excuses for Apple by the way, it’s just further evidence (to me) that their coding is the biggest load of **** of recent years.

I couldn't agree more. All of the OS's are unbelievably buggy.
Still wondering if the numbers on the "Activity Digital" are a complication or another type of resource.
