Just got my first ever Apple watch, Series 8, 45mm. Liking it OK so far except I can't seem to find a way to add either MyQ or NEXX garage door opener app complications (I have both set up to run my garage door). Both apps work fine on the watch. Except they aren't listed in the apps that can be added to the quick access complications. Is there a workaround, or is this Apple trying to force us into HomeKit?? This is pissing me off.

Third party watch complications aren’t available on all watch faces. You could add it into your dock for faster access.

I am new to the watch... I didn't know it has a dock? Like a Mac? How do I do that?

Go into your Apple Watch app on your phone. There you can specify which apps you’d like to add to your dock for quick access.

Note on your watch to access them press once the long button located directly under the crown that is flush with your watch. That gets you into your dock. Very useful and at times I use it exclusively instead of complications depending on the watch face I’m using.

As always, to get back to your main watch face just press the crown once.

On your iPhone watch app ‘Dock’ is located near the top right under ‘Notifications’ and ‘App View’.

Create a shortcut using the shortcuts app - lots of videos showing how to do it. Then you can add that shortcut as a compilation.
