Component cables discontinued?

When I do a search for the Apple Component Cables on Walmart.com (search MB128LL/A) it says they are being discontinued and availability is limited. Any ideas as to why? I found a store in town that still has them in stock. I wonder if I should wait.

BTW long time lurker here, 1st time post. Thanks to all who keep this site going!
 
No other retailers seem to have a shortage, so it might just be that Walmart doesn't sell enough to keep stocking them?
