Hi, i've checked various forums, and was put on hold by apple technical support for about 1 hour, and still got the run around.

What i am trying to do is to use my xbox 360 with my 23" display. I've looked into the various methods, and from what I can tell, it is dependent on the xbox 360 video out signal (whether it is analog or digital) and whether or not the apple cinema display can support a analog component video source via a dvi-i cable.

this is the direct option (IF the display can show analog input)

and this is the generic cable that "might" also work

My question to the mac rumors community is..... With the apple cinema display, and the xbox 360 (No hdmi version), will component video out, to dvi-i show up on the monitor.

Here are the components if you dont buy through the UK site.

If this is a dead end, does anyone know of a solution of using an xbox 360 with the apple 23" cinema display. I know there is a HD-Mate type product out there, but it is something to the tune of $350. Here is the link

Thanks in advance, and hope to hear some success stories out there! <crosses fingers>
