There is no option to send a new email from previous created hide my email account? Any ideas? I know you can reply but you can’t seem to compose new emails. I wouldn’t have used Sign In with Apple if I knew before hand

I think this explains how to do it:

I'm not sure that's really it, chabig. At least it doesn't solve the problem I'm having, which I think might be the same or similar as zombierunner is also having trouble with.

I can reply to an email that has been sent to a hide my email address. I can compose a new email to an address I've sent to before using hide my email.

The trouble comes when trying to compose a new email from a hide my email address I set up when creating a user account for something. I have no email to reply to and I haven't sent one before, so there appears to no way to do it, or I haven't found it at least.

Here's an example of something that just happened. I signed up to xyz.com by creating hidemyemail@icloud.com. I receive an email from a do not reply address giving me details including an email address for support. How can I compose an email to this address? I have no email to reply to, because it will go to the do not reply address (and it's greyed out and can't be edited). I haven't sent them an email before, so I appear to be stuck (aside from sending them an email from another address, which kind of defeats the object).

Any suggestions?

Interesting. The help document says, "Messages you send from a unique, random address can only be delivered to a single recipient." You're probably stuck.

I would suggest sending a normal email to support@xyz.com and explain in the message that your account username is <hidemyemailaddress>.

I was super frustrated at this also - you can create a disposable no problem, but can't use it to instigate a new email from it.

I think there was sort of loads of work arounds as mentioned above that doesn't quite hit the spot though.

I seem to remember from previous threads that while you can't do this on a mac/iOS device, you can do it via iCloud by logging in to the website, haven't done that yet so have no idea.
