"Composite back"?

Any one knows what this means in terms of Apple Watch Sport?
I assume its to do with the part that interfaces with your wrist.
Regular Apple Watch has a ceramic back.

Probably like poker chips. Good ones are ceramic, cheap ones are composite--that is, a blended plastic that feels a smidge like ceramic.
