Is there such a thing as an adapter that converts Composite video (the yellow one) to VGA for a monitor? I don't mean one that takes in VGA from your computer and outputs Composite to the TV, I mean one that takes in Composite from a set-top-box and outputs VGA to a monitor. The idea of this is to use a computer monitor as a TV connected to a Digital to Analog converter box.

    Ok so where?

All the adapters here seem to only convert VGA to Composite but not the other way around.

Or do those converter boxes work for Composite in and VGA out?
Because there's this one and it looks just like all those boxes in the above link, but it says you put composite in and VGA out.

Actually it looks like the silver boxes say VGA in and Composite out while the black boxes say Composite in and VGA out.

But then this one says that it has composite in but the vga port on the side is vga in and the other vga port on the front is vga out...

Maybe all these converters support any direction?
    Or maybe not

Also what about those adapter cords with a VGA plug and svideo, composite, and L/R audio out? VGA doesn't have audio so what's up with that?
