compressing files

How do i create a dmg file or something similar. I want to send someone a project i'm working on and all the files are in one folder. How would be the best way to do this? He uses a mac so it should be easier, correct?


Apple needs to work on their idisk, it terrible!

If you right-click (control-click) a file or folder, and choose "Create Archive of..." it will create a .zip file.

.dmg are also easy. go into disk utilities (apps>utilities>disk utility) and click at the top new image and then choose the amount of space you need and then drag in the folder.
