HI guys, I've just reinstalled my Final Cut Pro Studio, however, Compressor no longer runs on my El Capitan 10.11.6.

It used to run fine but now I get this message. Surely it should still work with my El Capitan as I used to use it all the time!

It’d be worthwhile to click “Report” to see the error you’re having. Did you download a new copy of Compressor from the App Store or move it from another computer or backup?

Hi mate,

This is Compressor from the good old days when software came on discs :) . I had it running previously but now it says it's no longer compatible with my OS, which is strange. I have all the required installation discs and keys. Very strange!

Still, click the report button and put it in this thread and someone may have a useful answer.

Are you sure it's still the original version that came with your copy of FCP and that is not somehow updated?

Yup. I bought the original fcp studio back in 2005. And then when I bought my new Mac Pro in 2009 I updated to the new fcp studio upgrade pack. And this is what I had used since.

Motion also is no longer supported, butit is greyed out altogethr so I can't even open it.

Compressor allows me to open it but I'm then met with the above message.
That should have shown a more detailed report about the error. I meant for you to post that here.
Nope. Didn't show me anything. I'll try again later today in case I missed something.
