i'm trying to compress video from final cut and everytime i do, it it gives me a file with no audio. its about a 90 minute clip.

Can you be more specific as to how you're exporting it? Settings (ones pertaining to the audio)?

settings were...
Best Quality 120 min.
MPEG 2 5.0 Mbps 2-pass
Dolby Digital at 192 Kbps or 90 min AIFF audio
